Martin Matiske returns to Central Processing Unit under his Blackploid alias with Strange Stars. First track, 'Star Patrol’ brings the Drexciya with a spooky lead pluck over rigid house/techno snaps, allowing the bass to breathe. In fact, a haunting, otherworldly feel is embedded everywhere in Strange Stars synthesis, from glimmering granular textures on ‘The Signal’ to the intense fault lines embedded in ‘Light Corridor’. A solid update to the futurist electro template.
