A perplexing and bewildering 3-track masterwork from Elektro Guzzi for Macro Recordings. The trio made of Bernhard Breuer, Bernhard Hammer, and Jakob Schneidewind might be more linked to their techno-leaning releases for Macro but this takes their meticulous and almost scientific approach to their art to a whole new level. Without the use of any computers, these metronomic and precisely composed opuses were played out live. From the dubbed-out techno soundscape of Circle One to the rumbling undercurrent of Circle Two, the whole release is a feat of performance and composition. Carefully crafted and faultlessly executed.
