Live in Brighton 75 captures exquisitely one of those all too frequent wish-you-could-have-been there Historic music moments. Taking in a performance of extended Can jams, almost all the 7 cuts often well exceed the 10 minute mark giving the mercurial Köln power quad ample time to flex their well honed linear funk.

Of the many notable highlights, which include a rare Michael Karoli live vocal performance and an extended Liebezeit drum work out, one more stands out in particular: after a brief interlude of drunken "requests" and heckles, Can invoke the spirit of Dylan being called Judas, ripping into the absolutely stonking Part Vier with a furious eruption and blasting all soused seasiders present back into the briny depths from whence they staggered. Well worth the price of entry alone.

Overseen by founding member Irmin Schmidt and producer/engineer Rene Tinner, this is the second instalment in a series which sees the band's much sought after live recordings given the well deserved remaster treatment. Long may they continue to unearth and polish these rare sonic treasures for our hungry ears.
