‘To All Sides They Will Stretch Out Their Hands’ is the surreal, tripped-out sequel to the previous album ‘Make Me Know You Sweet’ from Pendant - the headier alter ego of Brian Leeds (Huerco S). Leeds shows disinterest for creating perfectly sculpted ambient - rather, he directs us towards a refreshing, messy world by his process of capturing the music in one take and leaving DAW failings and outboard gear glitches audible in the final cut. Expect ‘over an hour of ultra immersive, brain-fluxing hybridized sounds somewhere between Chain Reaction vapourtrails and concrète dream-building’.
