A much needed repress of this 2013 classic from the Roman imprint Concrete Records, which pairs Donato Dozzy and Neel under their Voices of the Lake alias for a simmering, trance inducing slab of minimalism built for deft execution in the lead up to peak time action, letting the dark restraint build and wringing out each ominous tone across it's 8 minute run time. On the flip: Kab and Minilogue stretch the original beyond all previous conceptions, working their take on the techo-noir into a staggering 23 minute meditative epic.
