Numero Group’s multi-volume, iconic Eccentric Soul  series soon got pressed  to12-inch bootleg of a collection of choice Eccentric samples hit the underground. While unlicensed samples are in many ways a cornerstone of hip-hop culture, the bootlegger (in this case the production team Shoes) remains at the mercy of the label and artist. Numero Group, in an act of genuine savoir faire, flipped the script and officially released the record on its own in 2010 as Eccentric Beats & Breaks.
