Paul Wise aka Placid’s online community-turned-record-label We’re Going Deep caps off an exciting 2021 with yet another killer instalment in their EP series. Volume 5 covers everything from soulful mid-tempo techno to slow burn acid, with tracks coming in from multiple continents. That’s certainly a reflection of the boundless connective spirit in their rich URL coterie. To wit, Australia’s Tim Jackiw’s kicks things off with the powerful 303 drive of his track ‘Urban Theory’, while Yorkshire’s Al Bradley brings up the rear with a bit of introspective acid for the ride back from the function.
