Werk Discs label owner Darren Cunningham resurrected his Actress alias for this thrillingly innovative LP, his second full length. It still sounds light years ahead now. Splazsh twitches with all the energy of a producer calling on a raft of influences - Theo Parrish, 'Shake', Daft Punk, Prince, Drexciya, minimal synth music, science fiction - and then squeezing them into a sonic experience from beyond the Phuture.
