Manchester producer and DJ, Finn outdoes himself with this precious two-headed banger of a disc. Just listen to the first few bars of ‘Touch Me, Hold Me’: a diva vocal snippet loops all the way up the rafters, as Finn puts down the kind of meaty synth bassline we fully expect to explode within the first minute. Sure enough, the rhythmic lusciousness builds with ascended arps and a tense hi-hat build. Meanwhile, ‘Ride The Storm’ gets at that Daft Punk and Justice electronic disco ball sophistication, complete with a rip-roaring chorus section and densely layered drum programming.
