Genres

Originally released in 1971, this album documents the legendary collaboration between Fela Kuti’s Africa ’70 and Cream’s Ginger Baker. Noted as one of the best live albums ever recorded, the players influence still holds weight some 50 years down the line. This issue in particular contains on vinyl for the first time the mesmerising extended dual-drum solo between 2 of the greatest ever, Tony Allen and Ginger Baker recorded in ’78 at the Berlin Jazz Festival.
