A repress of 2017’s Peripheral Vision EP - just one of the many sought after gems in DMX Krew’s back catalogue, dusted off and brought back to life here courtesy of Byrd Out. Five tracks conjured up in his trademark colourful manner, with a vocal sample of his father providing a moment of tribute on the intro of the first track. Perhaps more accessible and direct than a lot of his more west-leaning records, ‘Slam Your Body’ in particular taps into a sweet 90s house sensibility which would easily slide into a Palms Trax set. Lively and funky melodic electro cuts.
