Altered Sense releases the debut release from Hexagon Seam, which looks to be the latest alias of Plant43’s Emile Facey. Drawing closer to Facey’s formative love of Kraftwerk, Foray offers a set of proto-electronic musings on Foray that show the connective tissue between his projects rather than create distance from his Plant43 work. ‘Weald’ and ‘Last Minute’ open the EP with two searching slices of ambience, while the title track shows the project’s potential in building a mesmerising soundscape over its twelve minute run.
