Gathered from a collection of live recordings captured between 2017 and 2019, Eighteen Movements offers a remarkably atmospheric set of rhythmic studies. A kind of thoroughly modern ‘fourth world’ disc, prolific producer and musician D.K. summons otherworldly ritualistic energies across each track, freely flying into hypnotic territory with the combined sounds of hand percussion, synth-meets-organic drones and what feels like the sounds of small creatures rustling in the bushes.
