This one’s for the heads. Outsider electronica mystic Inga Copeland aka Lolina’s Live In Geneva concert arrives on vinyl, and it’s about as limited a press as they come from Harajuku, Tokyo’s Big Love Records. As is customary to Copeland’s shows, this five-part sequence oscillates between moods of wayward joy and unplaceable creepiness — vocals circle into spirals smeared by delay, while unorthodox synth leads and samples roll out staggering, off-grid beats in the way of Throbbing Gristle and Phew. Copeland delivers lines about passing driving tests and putting on make-up with the weirdly emotive deadpan of an alien species.
