On fire London based producer/singer songwriter James Blake launches his debut twelve for the excellent Hessle Audio imprint. A deeply strange excursion into an metallic outer-zone of dubstep styles loaded with freaked out electronics and ruptured groove-science. Cut-up samples get chucked into this web, circus organs, chiming bleeps, screeching bass splinters are thrown about with a carefree abandon. A very intriguing little record from a very talented young man.
