Aldous Harding gives her fan favourite show-closer its own limited-run 7” release — one for the heads and the non-heads alike. ‘Old Peel’ offers a wonky piano tune in the vein of Cate Le Bon, Harding’s elven vocal winding around itself across the jagged fray of wiry guitars. The flip side features an alternative version of the track, with all the bells and whistles stripped away to reveal the robust singer-songwriter soul behind the wackiness.
