Long-time L.I.E.S. favourite Steve Summers delivers his long-anticipated debut LP. As Summers has demonstrated across his releases, Generation Loss offers further explorations of his very own bizarro world version of house music, twinged in some corners with the heavy, metallic taste of industrial. ‘Computer Non Grata’ is a case in point, its melody carved into sheets of steel with a compass needle, while elsewhere on the likes of the title track, a primitive form of pre-dance synth is given a thoroughly modern kick.
