The gentle sound of rainfall ushers in Endless Falls before becoming enveloped by dense layers of string drones and anguished chords, it's this heartbreaking melancholy that resonates throughout. Tracks slowly evolve and unravel amidst clouds of muted pianos and fading, percussive field noises culminating in the final piece, a digital-storm of cut up electronics punctuated by an honest monologue from Loscil himself.
