Legendary Belgian record label WeMe presents The Symbols by EOD - thirteen tracks originally released on the artists’ bandcamp page, now forever imprinted onto vinyl for the first time. It covers a lot of musical ground and tempos with its assortment of scuffed drum machines, tweaked synths and quirky melodies, with no tangible track titles given. There’s plenty of amen ruffage and breakbeat manipulation but almost always laden with considered chords in the classic braindance style, with the A3 being a kind of robust digi-dub. There’s a devilish unpredictability running through, making for a wicked collection for fans of the UK classix.
