The sixty-first edition of the Furthur Electronix catalogue comes in the form of the 5G Weaponised Bats EP by Chris Moss. ‘Beat String’ leads with velvety, heartbreak pad-led electro before it swandives into a nifty bleep ‘n’ breaks section. ‘Dirty Pope’ is a sludgy roller in the broken beat form, with uplifting melodies working their way in as it chugs forward. ‘Bayt al-Hikmah (Phlange Beat Mix)’ is an aqueous and spacious slice of electro with tectonic and breathy breaks sliding in and out, with ‘Vismottari Dasa System (Breaks Mix)’ sending out jubilant synth signals over chunky drums to close out.
