2010 saw a sea of great compilations of Cold Wave, New Wave and Minimal Wave, with labels digging deep in to the crates searching out a sound that still influences and inspires musicians and fans alike. This scintillating collaboration between Minimal Wave.Org supremo Veronica Vasicka, Stones Throw bossman Peanut Wolf and the subterranean sounds of Europe/U.S circa late 70's-early 80s is called The Minimal Wave Tapes.  A long-overdue celebration of cold-wave electronic music first released on super limited DIY cassette and vinyl now thrown into the limelight.
