Delsin Records’ Mantis series of immersive techno continues with a set of modernist drum n bass experiments from Horo favourite Lemna. The production stance across this LP is one of constant movement, even where pads invoke an icy stillness; each track represents a separate drum study, from the clattering, back-masked bongo rhythm of ‘Malayan Banyan’ to the subtle, emotive avant-breakbeat of ‘Marine Snow Nocturne’, its drum programming soaked in reverberating fog.
