Originally released as bonus cuts on the Japanese editions of his LPs New Tab and Finds You Well -- tentatively just out of the West’s reach -- this Khotin 7” features a neat two-header of airy downtempo for those wanting more from the Canadian producer. ‘Mind Altar’ and ‘A Loving Blue’ have an age gap of around 3 years, but Khotin’s strong sense of low-key rhythms and ice-cold pads remains a sustained trademark.
