Inspired by the outstanding TV show Chernobyl, French producer double-team The Hacker and Commuter craft an imagined soundtrack of electro bullishness. Machine funk and vintage electronics have always been a forte for these guys, and so the title track two-parter of Roentgen — named after the legacy unit of measurement for X-ray and gamma ray exposure — splits their ethos into one hi-octane bass sequencer jam and a melty squelcher respectively.
