Gazelle Twin and Max De Wardener’s powerful soundtrack to British thriller The Power, here on vinyl for the first time via Invada Records. Recorded in a variety of scenarios, from studio experimentation to recording medical equipment in an abandoned wing of Goodmayes Hospital, it’s a masterclass in ambient mood-building across the spectrum. There are ghostly drones and darkly atmospheric background hums in the sparser parts, and retro-electronic symphonies like ‘Intensive Care’.
