Big Ever is the new pseudonym for the productions of Thomas McAlister, whose work as Cop Envy found its way onto labels like Black Opal, Hypercolour and Templar Sound. The first of a spate of club-ready EP’s on Anthony Naples label Incensio this year, it covers a lot of territory across its four tracks. Clipped minimal techno and striding electro feature, with the hi-tension reggaeton reduction of ‘Apti’ shining brightest.
