Six slabs of halftime D&B, reappropriated dancehall and slo-mo techno from Italian artist TSVI - having previously released as Anunaku on AD 93. Back on the Nervous Horizon label he co-runs with Wallwork it’s also littered with spoken word ASMR vocals throughout. The first 4 tracks are the kind of murky dancehall/d&b hybrid championed in recent years by the likes of Joy O. The ‘Reflex’ collaboration with Randomer is a half-time D&B stepper with tribal percussion and pranging distorted reese bass. Closer ‘Compos Mentis’ produced alongside SVBKVLT’s Seven Orbits ends the intoxicating trip with slow, menacing techno in direct opposition of its title. Another fine work from this talented producer who continues to refuse to be pinned down to one particular sound.
