Trust Australian pioneer JG Thirlwell to return with yet another alias. While others have permitted explorations into noise, exotica and music concrete, the Xordox project sees Thirlwell exploring sonic world-building. Omniverse is part space opera, part Tangerine Dream-esque synth odyssey, as Thirlwell finds the common thread between industrial arps and intergalactic electronic sound design, bringing to mind a maniacally awesome Kraftwerk-Dopplereffekt cross-over.
