Portraits GRM do another excellent job of loading two like-minded works on the same disc. With this split, they welcome Hecker and Okkyung Lee, two composers quietly reinventing the avant garde form in their own unique ways; the former utilising machine learning and the latter with cello innovations. Staggeringly complex and beautifully vast with fragmentations and duplications, both are deeply immersive electronic music listening experiences.
