Having produced a bunch of club-centric LPs on Maloca, SVBKVLT and his own Do Hits imprint, as well as a smattering of remixes for Charli XCX, SOPHIE and Lafawndah, Howie Lee has more than enough dancefloor fire under his belt. Birdy Island marks a dramatic stylistic change for Lee, as he delves into a deeply organic sound akin to folk and traditional Chinese music, utilising a four piece choir to convey a strikingly beautiful and pastoral type of modern ritual sounds.
