London’s Cold Blow offer a fascinating compendium of cold wave, EBM and industrial esoterica, and a unique curation method. The cassette pulls together sets of demos by six different artists — among them Victor 25-2, Often A and Antoine Heroics — and blends them into two amorphous sides of warm, fuzzy, gory and gristly exercises in alien moods. There’s no direct way of matching artist to song in this weirdo DIY free-for-all, so the fun is in the guessing!
