Cosmo Rhythmatic presents Rakka II - the follow-up record to Rakka, Vladislav Delay’s audio chronicling of wanderlust in the wilderness of his native Finland. Whereas the first record in the series was an altogether darker, more hostile project, Rakka II navigates itself with a more human warmth, seeping through the often machinist cracks. Vladislav Delay has always been notably different for his masterful sound design while operating in the realms of minimal and dubby techno, a skill which is elevated to centre stage on Rakka II. There’s plenty of joy to be found in its unlikely organic rhythms and atonal warmth.
