A figurehead of the hugely influential Bristol dubstep sound, Peverelist here drops his debut full length of frosted dubstep><techno crossover fusions. Pev is a master of melting a numerous brain freezing rhythmical syncopations across the set; skipping junglist flecks soon dissolve into 2-step rolls and then through to 4/4 clicks and back again into slo-mo dub skank. All this programming is bolstered by some melancholic, strobing synth arcs that prime Jarvik Mindstate to be a contender as dubstep record of the year.
