The elusive Ed Chamberlain emerged in 2005 with a series of EPs for the now-closed BaseLogic label, kicking up quite a storm with his abstract, IDM-inspired electro and techno. He all but vanished in 2008, only to return with a highly sought-after 12-inch for Semantica in 2013. Barcelona’s Lapsus Records tap up Chamberlain for their Perennial series, collecting the material from that early period, as well as some unreleased gems and edits. All the tracks are remastered and sounding fresher than ever, making for a breathtaking collection of forward-thinking and in-demand club gear.
