In conversation with fellow modern classical composers like Arvo Pärt, Henryk Górecki and Giya Kancheli, Remembranza pairs acoustic pianos, strings, and harp alongside treated electronics in order to create a sort of uncanny exploration of rhythm. Lengthier tracks like ‘razon (en 3 partes)’ and ‘rostro’ build a rich tapestry of slow moving and repetitive loops while the tertiary interludes brilliantly add movement.
