Originally released in 2004, Tripper introduced the world to Efterklang’s contemplative, minimalistic indie-electronica. The childlike approach that Efterklang bring to their debut album still resonates today, while the sheer scope of instrumentation used (over 30 guest musicians feature on the album) remains incredibly ambitious. With the Danish group on indefinite hiatus since 2014, there’s no better time to reacquaint yourself with their back catalogue. This reissue comes on double vinyl, packaged alongside a CD version for the first time.
