Obergman (Skam, Börft, Brokntoys) lays down a flawless acid manifesto in Spectral Radiosity, inaugurating a Furthur Electronix sub label. The prolific Swedish artist has his formula of deep, minimal acid down to a tee, having honed it since the 90s, and it shows. He puts his 303 to work on each of the tracks, taking the unmistakable Roland squiggles into boundary-pushing and exciting new territories. The EP ranges from the downtempo roller ‘Acid Wave’ to the onslaught of ‘Radiant Intensity’. Whether for the warm-up, peak time or twilight hours, Obergman’s style is instantly recognisable.
