New from legendary German artist and composer Thomas Fehlmann, Böser Herbst was originally produced as the soundtrack to a documentary made by Volker Heise, ‘Herbst 1929, Schatten Über Babylon’ and comes to us in physical format for the first time via the mighty Kompakt. Driven by the concept of sampling a selection of 1920s music, dust and all, and then fragmenting and reimagining it using modern audio editing practises, Böser Herbst is a gloriously cinematic ambient excursion.
