Solidifying his legendary status within multiple factions of dance music, Detroit native Jimmy Edgar invites a host of rappers, singers and producers on board CHEETAH BEND for tunes that straddle trap and electronic music. Much like the rest of his output, Edgar proves that he can do it all; ‘ZIGZAG’ and ‘METAL’ — the latter of which features like-minded intrepid sonic explorer SOPHIE — both lumber like trap music gone industrial, while ‘PAUSE’ and ‘NOTICE’ (featuring 24hrs and Matt Ox, respectively) sound like big-time radio bangers being flipped on their heads, propelled by Edgar’s adventurous sound design ethos.
