The enigmatic Destiny71z may have been exposed as multidisciplinary artist and Floating Points live band member Mathew Kirkis, but Six is still just as mysterious a collection of songs as when they first appeared anonymously across a number of shadowy techno vinyl-only EPs. Eglo Records consolidate those tracks onto one disc alongside some new and unreleased cuts, and the whole picture hangs together nicely; from the Four Tet-like acid hit of ‘Foodgrogramvoltage’ to the ambient landscape of ‘arc by air’.
