L.I.E.S presents the first offering of Moist 98, a new project from Rene Nunez (AKA Horoscope). Nunez sampled and resampled some of his early tape demos, deconstructing the music of his youth—Miami bass, freestyle and funk—and recontextualising it into a red hot mix of distorted beats, interlude fragments and 808s. It's a wildly inventive chronicle of Nunez’s journey from Miami to New York, with all the characters and stories from along the way.
