Berlin-based multi instrumentalist and producer Berus took some detours before launching his new main project going by his original name. Since 2012 he tours the world under the moniker Frag Maddin and released various EP’s via respected house and techno labels such as Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records and DVS1’s Mistress Recordings. Berus was born to a Zaza family in Kurdistan, which eventually migrated to Germany escaping prosecution and discrimination of the nationalist regime in Turkey. The family settled in Hamburg and Berus grew up to be a musician. He played the drums, formed teen punk bands and started producing at an early age experimenting and shaping his future as an artist.
