Veterans of the electronic scene Gusgus, they who first broke in the 95 return in the late summer of 2009 with this, their seventh studio album, a first for Kompakt. 24/7 sees the Reykjavik residents craft six lengthy tracks of frostbitten, liquid techno. Expect blue-note, euphoric rushes of digital synthesis, chugging 4/4 patterns  and forever soaring pads. An album of delicious builds and giddy highs, slotting nicely into the Kompakt canon next to Mayer, Boratto, Ada.
