Dutch techno royalty Jochem Paap, AKA Speedy J, has been pushing things forward since the early 90s, and continues the charge with his Rotterdam-based STOOR project. Paap has been inviting artists to come and jam on his formidable arsenal of gear, and pressing the results to ultra-limited vinyl. Now, he collects the highlights from those releases into STOOR Comp 1, featuring collaborations between Speedy J and invitees like Rødhåd, Function, Mumdance, AnD, Colin Benders, Black Asteroid, Conforce or Subjected. Expect spontaneous and freewheeling, modular techno, acid and ambient.
