Sheffield's Monkeys return to the public eye with their third full length. Infamously recorded in the Mojave Desert with Queens Of The Stone Age lynchpin Josh Homme, Humbug dances in the sonic dust of both Homme and the Wild West. It isn't quite the plunge into the heart of darkness that many expected but the drums are tougher, the bass locked into a menacing fug,  and guitars spiral down jagged, feedback strewn highways. Alex Turner's lyrical prowess grows with every word, and while it doesn't shatter convention, still cements Arctic Monkeys as one of the finest rock acts on the globe
