Keleketla! is a global meeting of minds, started by Ninja Tune co- founders Coldcut and a group of South African musicians. Following their self-titled album is a remix 12”, housing DJ Stingray and Skee Mask remixes of two album highlights. The list of collaborating musicians on this 12” - which was recorded both in London and Johannesburg - includes the late Afrobeat luminary Tony Allen, as well as many other standout instrumentalists and vocalists. Stingray and Skee Mask, two of electronic music’s very best at programming and imagining rhythms, take the inspired source material into bold and distinctive new directions.
