While its title derives from the eponymous festival, during which Trip boss Nina Kraviz dropped the title track, the slight irony of coachella is that it might be quite some time until Deniro’s tunes can be enjoyed in the rave tent again. Regardless, this EP is pure bliss in the producer’s style, and we couldn’t have wished for anything better; glassy arps, rolling rhythms and an unmistakable air of class. The likes of ‘egalize’ and ‘tainted’ are top tier, zero faff techno numbers, while ‘needles’ mangles the groove a touch with a stray, staggering hit just to keep you on your toes.
