Dais Records unearths New York artist Tor Lundvall’s 2006 self-released CD-only festive oddity. More a melancholic wander through a blisteringly cold landscape than a cosy sleep next to the fire, Yule takes Lundvall’s characteristically amniotic sonic textures and hypnagogic pop style and puts some sleigh bells on it, if only so the listener can be more easily guided through the dense fog of ghostly ambience.
