After spending his youth in Gran Canaria, southern Spain, Artik sank himself into the cold industrial atmosphere of Berlin. Unsettling ambience and hammering percussion break up the rhythms that define Artik as an artist. The Robots At Dawn is a choice selection of 5 tracks inspired by the Asimov book of the same title. Futuristic and rough, the EP opens with an ambient sleeperhold, then onward through 3 pure dancefloor cuts, and closing with a necksnap-funk, distort-vocal track reminiscent of his outing on Monolith Records. All designed by a sound engineer and lover of the purist electronic music, to make you writhe in rhythm with our machine planet.
