Celebrants of left-field electronic and the new global underground Planet Mu mark their 25th year in the business with a royally stacked compilation. Even though the label’s extensive back catalogue would’ve yielded some excellent picks, PlanetMµ25 offers a snapshot of where Mu’s at today, and where it plans to head going forward. Anthoney Hart makes two appearances — first as the grime Svengali East Man and later as Basic Rhythm for the choice hi-tek remix of DJ Nate’s ‘Get Off Me (Betta Get Back)’ — while the likes of Ital Tek and Jana Rush go hard on some juke-inspired head rushes.
